We know everyone has different needs so we offer a variety of pricing options to choose from. The marathon pass is mandatory and can be combined with the meals pass and accommodation.

Marathon access
Friday to Sunday. Only confirmed participants can access the marathon. At the reception you’ll receive a Los Higos bracelet. This is your marathon pass, you can’t enter without it.

Enjoy unlimited coffee, tea, water, and a selection of delicious snacks each day.

Unlimited internal shuttles
Hop on and off one of our shuttle buses connecting the venue and many nearby hotels. The shuttle bus is free of charge.
Important: The shuttle bus stops at several locations, each close to the hotels booked through the Los Higos website.
If you book your accommodation through us, the shuttle stop will be within a walking distance from your hotel. But if you book your own accommodation, we cannot guarantee that your hotel is reachable by the shuttle, and the bus will not stop in locations other than the official stops. It’s easier if you let us arrange your accommodation.
Also important: Internal shuttle is not an airport transfer! Airport transfer comes with a fee, you can read more here.

Kalamata is very touristic during September and it's often hard to find accommodation close to the venue. That why Los Higos prebooks a number of apartments that are both low in price but also comfortable and close to the sea.

You asked for it and this year, we delivered! Thursday's pre-party milonga will be held at the main venue and will offer the same level of service as the marathon itself. To celebrate this new change, we are kicking things off with a live orchestra, Simple Tango!

8 hours milonga at the main venue
We’re truly happy to see that, year by year, more and more of you choose to arrive already from Thursday to be part of Los Higos. As this has naturally grown, we realized that what used to be our pre-party no longer fits the experience we want to offer — neither in space nor in dancing conditions. At the same time, many of you suggested something that felt absolutely right to us: to bring everything into the main venue and fully embrace Thursday as part of the marathon.
So, Thursday's pre-party is moving to the amazing main venue, becomes 3 hours longer and will offer the same level of service as the marathon itself. -
Live orchestra
We are celebrating the pre-party’s move to the main venue with a live orchestra, Simple Tango! We are very excited about this and we hope you are too.

Another location: our cozy tango school
After the marathon ends on Sunday, we are moving the party to a different location for a final milonga. This is a great opportunity to say goodbye to your friends and dance one last time before leaving Kalamata. The venue is our cozy tango school, located in the city of Kalamata.

The level
We are proud that Los Higos is known as one of the highest level tango marathons and we do our best to keep it that way.
The venue
Our venue will leave you speechless. The wooden floor is excellent for dancing and the balcony area has a wonderful view over the sea.
The city
Kalamata is one of the most beautiful summer destinations in Greece. Clear water, sunny weather and beaches just a few minutes away.
