Los Higos Terms & Conditions

Los Higos Tango marathon is a closed event - available only for people registered, in the list of participants drawn up by the organizers.
Access to the event is granted only to confirmed participants. A confirmed participant is one who has been accepted to the marathon and has completed their payment.
Registration for the marathon can only be made using the form located on our official website.
No single evening tickets will be available. Only the full event can be booked.
After registering you will receive a reply within 15 days. If we are not able to accept a registration within 15 days, or no reply is sent, we will add you to the waiting list. We will get in touch again when a vacant spot opens up.

Registering with a dance partner bounds your registrations together.
The registrations are considered partnered only if both registrations mention each other name as a dance partner.
You are either both accepted or both not.
You need both of you to complete your payment in order to be fully confirmed for the marathon.
If one of you cancels in the future, both your registrations get cancelled.

Registering with roommates does not bounds your registrations together.
If all of you get accepted we'll arrange the accommodation of your choice.
If some of you get accepted, we'll coordinate together either finding new roommates from the participants or changing the room type.

Quad rooms are of limited availability. Priority to them is given to people who have registered with specific people in the registration form and that all of them are participants of the marathon.
If a quad room is not available, the participants will be given the choice to get a triple room instead (if available). If the participants accept, the extra cost of the new room will be added to their registration fee. That amount can be paid later on, during the check-in process at the event.

With the acceptance of your registration, payment details will be given allowing 15 days time to issue your payment. We will not send reminders. Your spot may be lost and given away if your payment is not received within 15 days. Payments prior to our notification cannot be accepted.
When you choose to pay us by bank transfer, an additional 5 € shall be added to your total amount to cover bank process fees.
Any additional transcaction fees (for any type of payment) shall be covered by the participant.
If a bank transfer is not possible for you, please get in contact with us as soon as possible.
Please DO NOT book any tickets until you get our FINAL confirmation e-mail (if you don't receive the email, please, check the SPAM folder or contact us).

Until 1st of June: We refund the whole marathon amount, no questions asked. Possible bank fees will be on the expense of the participant, which means that most likely you'll receive a slightly smaller amount.
After 1st of June: We have a no-refund policy for normal cancellations in this period. The reason for that is by this time we have already taken care of most of the expenses of the event, such as venue, catering cost, accommodation cost, shuttle busses (etc.).
Your ticket / confirmed participation is personal and cannot be transferred or used by another person for any part of the event.

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Venue, and permitted only in designated areas. Failure to comply will possibly result to your elimination from the marathon. No refunds will be given in that case.
The organizers are not responsible for valuables and personal belongings participants left unattended.
